"Blu at Primal" Wine Dinner

For our next wine dinner with Primal Food & Spirits we are going to 'flip the script' so to speak. Both Blu Seafood and Primal are the creations of Chef Tim Lyons. As most will know, Blu is a great restaurant focusing on all types of seafood, and has won the New & Observer's award for Best Seafood in the Triangle multiple times. Primal is a gluten free restaurant, offering unprocessed, home grown foods. It is about getting back to basics, and eating more the way our ancestors did. Meat is often a focal point of many of the dinners we do with Primal, but for June they want to switch it up. Chef Lyons is going to bring his mastery of seafood to the dinner but in Primal's 'Farm to Fire to Fork' style as we do an all Seafood Wine Dinner. It will be great to see how the Primal ethos creates different dishes from those we've seen in the past at our dinners with Blu. Chef is hard at work on the menu, and as soon as he has his outline to us we'll get to work on finding the best wines to pair with his creations.
