We are open, offering both in-store shopping as well as Curbside Pick-up.
As a reminder, please do wear a mask if you come inside, and please adhere to the
six-foot minimum social distance at all times.
Curbside Pick-up
Step 1: Email us or Call us. Email is the preferred option if possible. Let us know what you are looking for. That can happen through you naming specific wines you know you like and have bought with us before, or having us check your customer history and make recommendations off of what you've purchased before, or just trusting us on some of our current favorites. Maybe even a combination of all of the above! Let us know how many bottles you are looking for, and the price range you want to work within.
Step 2: Provide credit card information. You can do that through phone call or email. (Sometimes guests will send half their CC# on two consecutive emails to make it safer.) Once we have your order ready, we can give you a call, review the order with you, give you your final total, and then run the credit card with you on the phone. Our Point of Sale system does also allow you to store your card information, (encrypted of course), so that we can run later transactions without needing you to read off the number again. If you are interested in having us store the credit card information on your customer profile, just let us know when giving us the payment information.
Step 4: Come by and we'll bring everything out to your car. Give us a bit of time to get everything together, and we will let you know about how much time we need to compile your order. Give us a call when nearby, or when you have actually arrived at the curb, and we can bring your order to the car for you. We do request that, if you can, pop the trunk or back door remotely from inside the vehicle, and we can then set the order down in the back for you. If your trunk requires to be manually opened, or if you want the order in your back seat or passenger seat, we will set the order on the brick planter wall near the curb, and allow you to load the vehicle yourself. We will respect, and ask you to respect, the suggested six-foot distance through the process. Thank you!

White Wines
Indaba Sauvignon Blanc
Western Cape, South Africa, 2018
South African Sauvignon Blancs are steadily growing in popularity, with similarities to both the New Zealand and Loire Valley styles. Enticing melon, citrus and tropical fruit aromas lead to fresh, zesty flavors of passion fruit, lime, mango and green fig, supported by a spine of racy acidity. Herbal undertones shine through on the mineral-tinged finish.

A.A. Badenhorst 'The Curator' White
Swartland, South Africa, 2019
This tasty blend from South Africa is 83% Chenin Blanc, 10% Chardonnay, and 7% Viognier. Winemaker Adi Badenhorst says "There is so much high quality fruit in the Swartland that ends up unrecognizable in Bag-in-Box blends. I felt that by adding a little more care to the vinification of these grapes, while maintaining cost efficiency in production, we could produce wines that would be sure to turn a few heads for a very reasonable sum of money." He definitely delivers on that idea! Chenin Blanc is the backbone and structure of this blend. The Chardonnay was naturally fermented and took a long time to complete fermentation, resulting in great texture and aromas of dried peaches and apricots and ripe citrus. The Viognier, from one of Badenhorsts favorite growers and vineyards, completes the Swartland canvas and brings some spice and palate length to the wine. Aromas of lemon zest, green tropical fruits and spices lead to a palate of ripe, honeyed stonefruit and melon. It is a rich wine, but classically dry on the finish.

Domaine du Prince Blanc
Costières de Nîmes, France, 2019
Some of our favorite white wines to sip during Spring weather are the lovely white wines made in France's Rhone Valley. These are whites that often have a full, round weight on the palate, giving them some substance and texture. Made of 60% Grenache Blanc, 20% Marsanne and 20% Roussanne, three of the traditional white grapes of the southern Rhone valley, the Domaine du Prince is an excellent example. It has a mouthfeel that is almost plump, with warm fruit tones of peach, quince, and yellow apple. The weight and fruit of the wine are kept in check by a nice touch of wet stone minerality and just enough acidity on the finish. This wine would work wonders with a nice pork tenderloin with an apricot ginger glaze, or with lentils and carrots in Indian spices.

Domaine Duffour Blanc
Côtes de Gascogne, France, 2019
This blend of Colombard, Gros Manseng, and Ugni Blanc from the Gascogne region has become a customer favorite, and understandably so. In the glass, the Domaine Duffour is a pale lemon-yellow color with a crisp, clean appearance and pleasantly round viscosity for a white wine. On the nose and palate, there are immediate fresh notes of Key lime pie, lemon rind, citrus grove, crushed white fruit, stone fruit and chalky minerals. Cotes de Gascogne is the IGP title for wines that are produced in an area centered on the Gers administrative department of South-West France. The countryside here is verdant, and the low rolling terrain is interspersed with small, picturesque villages. All in all, this is well suited to viticulture, as the soils and climate work together across the area to create an optimal environment for vineyards.

Viña Cartín Albariño
Val do Salnés, Rías Baixas, Spain, 2019
This wine is made with grapes grown in the renowned Salnés Valley. Made of vines averaging 30 years in age, the land is farmed naturally, and the wine is made and aged in stainless steel to preserve fruit freshness and brightness. This is a wonderful introduction to the Albariño grape for those who may not have experienced it before. An intense aroma of ripe peach, pear, mango and citrus leads to a front palate that is smooth and flavorful. On the tongue it has great balance between fruit flavors of grapefruit, peach, mild tropical fruit tones, and well-integrated acidity. The finish is fresh and fruity, but also full of nuances of minerality and herbs. Textbook Albariño! It can work just as perfectly as an aperitif as it does with a meal, especially any seafood, and shows why Albariño has forged a place as the best known Spanish White Wine in the domestic market.

Soter Vineyards 'North Valley' Chardonnay
Willamette Valley, Oregon, 2017
Tony Soter established his name as owner and winemaker of Etude Vineyards in California, where he made award winning Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs. He is a native of Portland, Oregon, and in the early 2000s he sold Etude and returned home to Oregon and founded Soter Vineyards. The Willamette Valley is Oregon's most recognized appellation for cool climate wines like Chardonnay, and it is the Northern part of this valley where the finest vineyards are found. This is a wonderfully balanced Chardonnay, having been fermented in both oak barrels (49%) and stainless steel (51%). It is a bright, spicy Chardonnay, with a jumble of pear and melon fruit highlighted with white flower aromas. The wine gains weight through the mid-palate, with just a hint of barrel flavor from 6% new French oak. Aromas of golden delicious apple and citrus peel lead to flavors of bosc pear, honeydew melon and wildflower honey. The finish is bright and creamy, with a subtly salt-tinged acidity that keeps it from every getting cloying or too rich. A great example of how good Oregon Chardonnay can be!

Hopler 'Pannonica' White Blend
Burgenland, Austria, 2019
This is another featured wine where we listened to you - our favorite customers! We sampled this at one of our weekly Saturday tastings (back when we were able to do those!), and the response to this wine was hugely positive. So we decided we should have more of it! A great blend of 40% Grüner Veltliner, 35% Chardonnay, and 25% Pinot Blanc, it is a charmingly versatile white wine. A subtle aromatic streak of citrus zest characterizes the nose of the wine. There's lemon and grapefruit on the palate too, and a nice light weight. Fresh and elegant, this is an ideal glass of tangy dry white. I'd love this wine with an Arugula Salad with Lemon Balsamic Dressing, or with a Soft Shell Crab Spider Roll from your favorite Sushi restaurant!

Sokol Blosser Pinot Gris
Willamette Valley, Oregon, 2018
Dating back to the early 1970s, Sokol Blosser winery was one of the first truly great Oregon wineries. They are still viewed as producing wines that encapsulate the “classic” Oregon style. This Pinot Gris has aromas and flavors of apple, fig, citrus and spice, with complex undertones of earth and minerals. It has a firm backbone coupled with lush creaminess. All the grapes for this lovely white are from hillside vineyards, and are organically grown. This is a wonderful companion to pan seared halibut, oyster stew,
herbed chicken or fresh fruit.

Les Cailloux Bordeaux Blanc
Bordeaux, France, 2018
This was easily one of our favorite finds of 2019, as evidenced by the fact that the staff continue to purchase bottles to take home. Les Cailloux Blanc is a negociant wine blended from various sources and we have it on good authority that the sources may include some barrels from a Medoc First Growth Chateau that also makes white wine. 100% Sauvignon Blanc aged 8 months in traditional French oak barrels. The pure expression of Sauvignon Blanc grown on the greatest terroirs of Bordeaux where the most legendary growths are located. The bouquet is rich with citrus fruit, well ripened white peach and wild flower aromas, with an elegant hint of brioche, mint, and lemon curd.

Rosé Wines
Sokol Blosser Rosé of Pinot Noir
Dundee Hills, Oregon, 2019
This is the fifth year we've received Sokol Blosser's beautiful Rosé, a wine that was previously a special treat sold exclusively at the winery. It is a classic dry Rosé made 100% from estate grown Pinot Noir. It exhibits a fragrant ruby red grapefruit bouquet that carries over onto the palate, joined by flavors of citrus, bergamot, and fresh tropical fruits. The acidity is crisp, and a lingering note of golden raspberry gives way to a smooth finish.

New Selection!
Charles Bieler Père & Fils 'Sabine' Rosé
Aix-en-Provence, France, 2019
This is our current 'go-to' for classic Provencal Rosé. It is a blend of 35% Grenache, 33% Syrah, 13% Cinsault, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 7% Rolle. Traditional Provence Rosé is what nearly every serious winemaker around the world attempts to mimic and for good reason. The delicate balance between floral, herbal, wild red fruit (not overly ripe), stone fruit and acid has proven itself time and time again. A great Southern French Rosé isn't about a singular big flavor, but more about nuance, energy, soul and personality. Bieler nails it with a balanced array of raspberry, cherry, peach, citrus, mineral and herb accents. In no way fay or heavy on the palate, and with great length.

Stellenbosch, South Africa, 2020
This wonderful, full rosé is a true mélange of grapes, being made of Syrah, Cinsault, Grenache, Mourvedre, Viognier, Petit Sirah, and Roussanne. While the blend is a bit daunting, the wine itself is truly delicious and a definite crowd-pleaser. It has alluring aromas and fresh flavors of cherries, watermelon and strawberries, accented with delicate floral nuances and wild herb tones. Very dry on the finish, with a brisk cleanliness that is refreshing.

StoneCap Syrah
Columbia Valley, Washington, 2017
The Monson family owns the sprawling Goose Ridge Estate Vineyard (1,300 acres), and sell much of their fruit, which allows them to produce StoneCap as a fully Estate wine at an extremely sensible price. Their Syrah starts with aromas of wild berries, caramel and smoke. It has full-bodied flavors of black raspberry, black cherry and plum with hints of tobacco, citrus zest and mocha. Try this with Chorizo Stuffed Chayote Squash, Chicken Meatballs and Spicy Arrabbiata Spaghetti, or Roasted Tomato and Red Pepper Bisque
with a Grilled Pimento Cheese Sandwich.

Domaine St. George Cabernet Sauvignon
California, 2018
One wine that we seem to always be on the hunt for is the great, everyday California Cab, one that balances affordability and quality, yet still tasting truly of Cabernet Sauvignon and not just like ‘red wine’. Well, we found a definite winner here with the Domaine St. George! Based primarily on fruit from Sonoma County, it over-delivers with concentration and finesse. Ripe black cherry and cedar aromas combine on the nose, with a touch of vanilla oak in the background. It is richly flavored with black currant and black cherry accents, with mild tones of smoke and mint. It is velvety and soft yet intense on the palate, with lingering berry flavors.

Unearthed Pinot Noir
California, 2018
In the rolling vineyards along California’s Central Coast, Pinot Noir vines sink their roots deep into the earth, soaking up the essence of the land. Cooled by Pacific wind and fog, fruit ripens slowly and evenly, developing plush texture, bright fruit flavors and the deep, earthy undertones found only in fine Pinot Noir. Nicely balanced, this fruit-forward Unearthed Pinot Noir offers up fragrant aromas of black cherry and spring violets. On the palate, one can enjoy flavors of freshly picked plum and lightly toasted oak. We've been very impressed by the balance of this wine for its price.

Paris Valley Road 'Founder's Red'
California, 2017
34% Zinfandel, 30% Syrah, 30% Petite Sirah, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon.
The Paris Valley Road Founder’s Blend is a wine rooted in history. Each year their winemaking team sits down to create the best blend possible using the 4 main varietals planted on their Chalk Knoll Vineyard. This blend was aged for 16 months in French and American oak. It yields aromas of blueberry jam, chocolate, star anise, and espresso. Balanced tannins hold the profile together giving way to a smooth and flowing texture. Finally, hints of black plum, and subtle touch black pepper on the palate become evident on the dense finish. This is a big, rich voluptuous wine for those who want a ripe, assertive red. Perfect for red meats or braised dishes, and definitely able to hold its own alongside your favorite cigar.

La Maialina Chianti
Chianti DOCG, Tuscany, Italy, 2018
Sadly, as we forewarned, we did run out of the Gertrude blend last month, and it looks to be a couple months before it returns. In the meantime, we've stayed with the La Maialina winery, and switched over to their wonderful Chinati. La Maialina celebrates the history, culture and cuisine of Chianti, and their wines express the essence of Tuscany and the tradition of quality that defines this historic region. The name La Maialina (little pig) references the Cinta Senese heirloom breed that is the only native Tuscan pig that survives today. The entry level Chianti is a classic Italian table red, a pure expression of fresh Sangiovese, with aromas of red fruits, hrebs and sweet spices. The bright cherry palate has a tangy edge without being tart, and nice earthy back tones that make it especially food friendly. Grab a bottle of this from us, get some great food to go from Pulcinella's here in the shopping center, and you've got a perfect dinner all set and ready to go!

Bodegas Olivares Tinto
Jumilla, Spain, 2017
We had a nice long run featuring the big brother to this wine in the Altos de la Hoya Monastrell, but that well has run dry and now we turn to feature it's little sibling! The Bodegas Olivares Tinto is 75% Monastrell (Mourvèdre), with 15% Syrah and 10% Garnacha. The juicy 2017 showcases the best characteristics of the vintage on the Mediterranean coast of Spain, a classical year with good ripeness but keeping the freshness and acidity. The wine is aged three months is large oak containers, then bottled to keep the fresh fruit profile, which is akin to biting into a bunch of ripe berries. Those vibrant fruit tones and framed by accents of cherry, anise, and a hint of peppery spice. Juicy acidity lifts and sharpens the tone, and the finish is ripe and smoky, with supple tannins and a late touch of bitter chocolate.

Chateau Jacquet Bordeaux
Bordeaux, France, 2017
We were very fortunate that right as we ran out of our previously featured Bordeaux, an old favorite arrived back in the market in a new vintage, and just as tasty as ever. Chateau Jacquet has been one of our go-to French reds over several vintages, and the new 2017 keeps the flame. A blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, it is fermented in stainless steel vats before being aged for 12 months also in tanks to preserve the lively fruit accents. It has a bright garnet color with purple hues, and an expressive nose with aromas of red fruits and spices. The tannins are well integrated and smooth, and the palate shows both the roundness of the Merlot and the power of the Cabernet Sauvignon. This medium-bodied wine shows classic Bordeaux flavors of black cherry, cassis and espresso.

The Show Malbec
Mendoza, Argentina, 2018
The Show is a collaborative project of three wine entrepreneurs – Charles Bieler, Joel Gott, and Roger Scommegna. This 2018 vintage has a deep red, nearly purple color, with aromatics of concentrated black fruits, cigar box and notes of toasty oak barrels. Dark fruit, baking spice and rich flavors continue on the palate, which is quite brooding and focused. The tannins are super integrated and soft, but with terrific balance and finish that gives it unusual length across the palate. Just a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon blended in adds complexity.

Briarstone Cabernet Sauvignon
California, 2018
Ripe and dark-berried with just perceptible oak, this is a Cabernet for those who are tired of the brawny, overly woody flavor profile of the typical California style. Briarstone was born from the idea that delicious, mouth-filling California wines can be hand-crafted at reasonable prices. This is made by the Hill family, who do an estate Napa Cabernet that sells in the $50 range. Some leftover fruit from the estate Cabernet goes into Briarstone, along with excellent quality fruit sourced from grower’s they have long known and respected around California. The result is a Cabernet Sauvignon of both amazing value and lots of character. The palate is rich and deep, with plush cherry and berry fruit all framed by soft touches of oak for complexity. This gives you top Napa Valley elegance without the Napa Valley price tag.

Covington Cellars 'Franc' Cabernet Franc
Columbia Valley, Washington, 2017
Cabernet Franc can be a very polarizing grape, and people often tend to either really, really love it, or really dislike it. In honesty, I am usually one of those in the 'not so fond' column, but with this example from Covington out of Washignton State, I am definitely being converted! In a rich, full style, previous fans of Cabernet Franc will definitely be drawn in by the aromas of cherry, currant, black pepper and menthol on the nose. But those who have stayed away in the past because of examples that are too medicinal or vegetal will find nothing but pleasure in the mouthfilling ripe cherry and red berry fruit flavors on the palate. Not just a fruit bomb, it has accents of mild oak, some slight rose petal and herbal back notes, and finishes in a broad dusting of tannins and lingering red fruits and spices. Consider me a Franc fan!

New Selection!
DeMorgenzon 'DMZ' Rosé
Stellenbosch, South Africa, 2020
This wonderful, full rosé is a true mélange of grapes, being made of Syrah, Cinsault, Grenache, Mourvedre, Viognier, Petit Sirah, and Roussanne. While the blend is a bit daunting, the wine itself is truly delicious and a definite crowd-pleaser. It has alluring aromas and fresh flavors of cherries, watermelon and strawberries, accented with delicate floral nuances and wild herb tones. Very dry on the finish, with a brisk cleanliness that is refreshing.

Red Wines
