Rosé!
Even though it has cooled back down since the end of last week, the recent heat wave had multitudes of wine lover’s realizing that rosé season is here! Now if you are like us, you love rosé wine year round, yet there is no arguing the fact that we sell about 3 times as much rosé during the summer as any other time of year. We’ve enlisted our good friend Greg Pfaender of Advintage Distributing to pour four of his current favorites. We’ll have a lovely Spanish sparkling rosé from one of their most up-and-coming regions, an area that is definitely going to give it’s neighbors producing Cava a run for their money. We’ll sample a rare find in a Chinon rosé, made of 100% biodynamically grown Cabernet Franc. Next up is an elegant rosé of Pinot Noir from Sonoma County, and finally a classic Provençal rosé that has quickly become one of our top sellers. This is a great way to get your Memorial Day weekend going!
