So Fall is slowly, cautiously, coming to us in North Carolina. (Although it is predicted to be near 90 on Saturday, of course!) But while the weather isn't too cool yet, the return of Football and the mild browning tones of the leaves say that Fall is on its way. One of the main wine regions that always come to mind for us with the Autumn season are some of the classic French appellations. The more savory, terroir driven wines just seem to perfectly suit the earthy root vegetables and other late summer produce we see, and match the light evening chill (once it finally arrives!) so well. For this Saturday's tasting we've picked out some of our favorite French Classics for your sampling, including great entry level red and white Burgundies, a steal of a Red Bordeaux, an age worthy but already delicious Rosé, and one of the best deals in Grower Champagne that we've ever been able to offer. We hope you can join us!
