There is something about finding that little hidden gem of a wine or winery that feels so special. It's not just being the hipster cool kid on the block, but there is a fun aspect to discovering something you really enjoy that not everyone knows about. It's like what I recommend to most customers who ask where they should go when visiting Napa or Sonoma - I might give them one or two names, but mostly I suggest not making too many plans and asking every bartender, waiter and taxi driver "what have I never heard of that the locals are drinking?". So we thought this weekend we would bring a little of that joy of discovery to you without all the travel! We are focusing this weekend on a number of small production wines from small, independent wineries that can fly under the radar a bit. Hopefully you can join us and find some wines to be passionate about.
