French Imports of Rosenthal Wine Merchant

For this special Friday tasting we are going to look at some of the delicious French wines imported by Rosenthal Wine Merchant.  RWM is a family-run organization that is composed of a close-knit group of people who understand that wine is an agricultural product and that in its best and purest form wine must reflect a specific sense of place. They share the goal of communicating this concept to a growing audience by presenting the finest examples of wine made in the classical western European tradition.  Each wine bearing their logo has been produced in limited quantities by a dedicated artisan.  The growers they work with follow traditional methods and produce their wines in as natural a manner as possible.  They all have a passion for true expression of terroir, that ephemeral 'sense of place'.  We will visit, through these wines, several of the most prominent wine regions in France.  We'll start with our best selling Sancerre, visit Burgundy and Beaujolais, a stop in the Rhone Valley, and finish in historic Bordeaux.  Our guide for these wines will be Jen Salomé of the Haw River Wine Man, our local distributor of Rosenthal wines.  As those of us who love European wines wait to see if the pending tariffs actually happen, this is a great time to stock up on some fantastic French wines at deep discounted prices!
