Fresh Rosé Tasting

4/6/2017

Picture

Saturday, April 8th
4:30 - 7:00

With the explosion in popularity of dry rosé over the last few years, winemakers are getting their new vintages to market quicker and quicker, to make the most of the season.  Now there are those like us here at Hope Valley Wine & Beverage that love a good rosé year round, but for many they still wait for the warm weather.  As we enter into Spring, how could we resist looking at some of the new beauties of 2016 this weekend!  We will sample two of the best values in rosé out of Provence, France, the Mediterranean region thought of by many as the true homeland of dry pink wines, including one in a liter bottle for when you need just that little bit more; we'll try two beautiful California rosé, one from the Central Coast and one from the Sierra Foothills, both by natural winemakers with an emphasis on terroir; and we'll also venture down to Argentina, for a unique rosé based on a grape more associated with white wines.  Please come join us for our first of what is usually a number of rosé tastings over the warmer months, and see what 2016 has to offer!
