Created in 1992 by Bruce and Barbara Neyers, Neyers Vineyards takes its cues from classic French winemaking philosophies. Sitting in the heart of Napa Valley, they make their wines naturally without use of cultured yeast or laboratory designed malolactic starter. Their wines are aged with as little intervention as possible, and in most years they bottle their wines with neither fining nor filtration, using a state of the art mobile bottling line. Neyers wines express pure varietal character and terroir.
Best of all, Neyers Vineyards is under the Trinchero Family Estates portfolio, so our guide for these lovely California wines will be non other than the man, the myth - Laurence O. 'Dr LOV' Vuelta. He's going to join us to look at a spread of Neyers wines, including two Chardonnays where one is done in stainless steel and the other in oak. A great opportunity to compare and contrast the un-oaked and oaked styles of Chardonnay. We'll also feature three red wines, one being the Left Bank Red blend of Caberenet and Merlot, which was the top seller at our dinner with Nana's Restaurant early in October, as well as a Zinfandel and a Rhone style blend, both of which are perfect companions to the Fall weather.
