Oregon Wines

Oregon is one of those areas that we seem to come back to again and again for our Saturday tastings.  They've had a string of fantastic vintages in the Willamette Valley, and the bevy of 20104s, 15s and 16s on the market are drinking wonderfully.  These wines really exemplify to me how well Oregon strikes a balance between the more fruit driven California style of Pinot Noir and the French Burgundian style with its lovely spice and earth tones.  We've got picked out to sample two superstar Pinot Noirs, a delightfully off-dry white blend, one of the best Chardonnay we've tasted in the last few years, and an intriguing and delicious take on Pinot Gris that comfortable sits in the Orange Wine niche that is gaining in popularity.  This will be a great cross section of all the styles that make Oregon shine, and we hope you can join us on Saturday!
