Saturday, July 6th
4:30 - 7:00
There is no doubt that we have hit full on Summer now. The temperatures keep creeping up, and the humidity is increasing in check. We're at that time of year where everyday there is a chance of afternoon thunderstorms, and the asphalt seems to melt through your shoes. What's the best way to beat the heat? In our opinion, the answer is wine, wine and more wine! (Anyone surprised there?) We are joined this Saturday by our good buddy Mike Bostick of Epiphany Wines, and we gave Mike carte blanche to select five of his favorite summer wines. He chose two white wines and two rosé that are all as appropriate for poolside sipping as they would be with light meals of fruit, salad, or seafood. He didn't want to leave out our red wine fans, so he also included one nice ripe red that will complement anything off the grill, from vegetable kabobs to the heartiest steak. We hope you'll take a break from the sun this Saturday to join us and get your evening started
