Weekly Tastings

The Unusual Suspects

Saturday, July 7th
4:30 - 7:00

American wine drinkers have steadily become more and more knowledgeable and more adventurous over the last few decades.  While many still love the tried and true classic grape varieties that we've all known to love, there is a wonderful current spirit to find something new and different.  One of the truly fun aspects of wine is that there is always something new to learn.  Even for those of us who work with wine as a profession, new grapes from unexpected areas seem to pop up like clockwork.  Some of those are just as easily forgettable, and some just absolutely knock our socks off, but the always fun part is exploring and discovering through tasting.  So for this Saturday's weekly tasting, expect the unexpected!  We are going to delve into five lesser known grapes/blends from around the globe, some you may have heard of, some might be a brand new find. Overall, we think they are all delicious, and look forward to seeing if you agree!
