California's North Coast

This week we will turn our attention to some great domestic wines, as we look as some great examples of wines from California's North Coast. The official North Coast AVA (American Viticultural Area is vast, covering over 3 million acres north of the San Franciso Bay area. Encompassed within are some of the most famous smaller AVAs in all of America, if not the wine world, including Napa Valley, Sonoma Valley, Carneros, Russian River Valley and more. It also include up and coming areas such as Lake County, Mendocino and Clear Lake, areas that are thriving as the real estate in Napa and Sonoma has become so expensive. Wine made under simply the 'North Coast' designation can be blends of fruit from anywhere within the large area. We've chosen four wines for Saturday that will express aspects of all of the above. We will have two great Sonoma wines, a fantastic Mendocino value, and a classic Napa Valley wine. Don't miss it!

~ We will allow a maximum of 25 people inside the store, including staff. If we reach that maximum, other guests will need to wait outside until another group exits.

Bonus Weeknight Tasting!

Now that we are getting back into the groove with our Saturday Tastings, it is time to start throwing in some great bonus weekday tastings! Next Tuesday the 26th we are excited to show off some of the delicious wines from Stonestreet Estate Vineyards out of Sonoma. We will be joined by Craig Ellick, Stonestreet's Brand Ambassador, who willl walk us through an amazing collection of their top notch Chardonnay and Cabernet. This tasting will go from 5:00 PM until we close at 7:00 PM. Please join us!
