Great Gifts for French Wine Fans
Friday, November 30th

With Special Guest Debra Lewis of Vintage '59 Imports
Our first tasting of the week is Friday evening, as we look at some beautiful French wines that would make for wonderful gifts for the Old World wine lovers. We've invited our good friend Debra Lewis of Vintage '59, one of our favorite importers of high quality French wines from across the country. We'll sample two classic whites, a lively Sparkling Rosé, and two prestigious reds. This will be a great way for us to kick off the gift giving portion of the Holiday season!

Argentine Wines - Malbec and More
Saturday, December 1st
4:30 - 7:00
Since the earliest days of Hope Valley Wine & Beverage, we were very aware of the popularity of Argentine Malbec. Honestly I thought we might be at their peak of popularity when we opened in 2008, but I could not have been more wrong, as they have continued to be a go-to favorite of many of our regular customers. And with good reason - some of the best value in wines from around the globe right now come out of Argentina. These are complex wines, often bursting with wonderful fruit, and offering huge bang for the buck. A decade later, and the wines of Argentina are still gaining momentum it seems. We're at a great moment now, when we are seeing even more grapes and styles being produced out of the country, leading to an even better variety of flavors in Argentine wine. We've focused on a number of these alternate grapes for this week's tasting, although of course we had to throw in one Malbec, so we strove to make sure it was a special one. We hope you can join us for this great look at the breadth of wines from Argentina.
