We know it's been a struggle this week with the oppressive heat, so we decided to throw in an extra tasting tonight to help soothe your pain. We invite you to come cool off with a sampling of some of our favorites wines for hot weather - bubbles! Sparkling wines are always super refreshing, and even more so when the temperatures soar. We've got a great selection for you of a variety of styles - we've got some Brut, a 100% Chardonnay Extra Brut, true Champagne, Lambrusco, and even Moscato. There is literally something for everyone in this lineup. For our guest host, we had to invite the best of the best, our dear friend Laurence O. Vuelta! Larry, or Dr. LOV as we like to call him, is a staff and customer favorite, who will guide us through these lovely wines with his usual enthusiasm and flair. Don't worry if you'll be dragging in sweaty and tired, everyone else is going to be in the exact same situation, and we can all shake off the day together. Weekly Saturday Tasting
New Zealand Wines

Wines from New Zealand sell great for us year round, but we definitely still see an uptick in their popularity during warmer weather, especially their iconic Sauvignon Blanc. Just looking at the picture above helps you feel cooler, doesn't it! We continue with our refreshing tastings this week with a great exploration of some of our current favorites from Aotearoa, the Māori name for the islands meaning 'land of the long white cloud'. Of course we've got a couple of Sauvignon Blanc to sample, one on the more everyday level and another on a more reserve level. Paired with those we've got a charming Chardonnay from the North Island, then back to the South Island for a delicious Pinot Noir, a red that can certainly shine with a chill to it. It's going to be too hot on Saturday for yardwork or any of that junk, so come on by and sip some great Kiwi juice with us in our lovely air-condititioned space! We do have to keep the wine comfortable after all.
