Our First Rosé Tasting of 2025!

We often have to plan our tastings several weeks in advance, which often leads us to the whims of the weather, which we all know in North Carolina is a precarious position! Last week, figuring it would still be somewhat chilly for the first week of April, we featured Cabernet Sauvignon, and of course it ended up being nearly 90 degrees outside. For this weekend, we figured we'd be getting fully into Spring so it seemed perfect to do our first Rosé tasting of 2025, and the temperatures have plunged back down, go figure. Luckily many of us love a delicious Rosé year round regardless of the temperature, but we can celebrate them as a herald of the Spring even if it's a touch cooler than we would like. There is such an amazing assortment of rosé to choose from these days, in colors from the lightest onion-skin pink to the deepest dark coral red tones, light and crisp to heavier and round, and coming from every grape and wine region one can think of. We've got four classic Rosé to feature Saturday, three recently released 2024 vintage and one tasty non-vintage sparkler, and even if it isn't all that warm outside, with will be bright and sunny inside as we taste these pink gems!
