Winter Warmers
Saturday, January 6th
1:00 - 3:00
1:00 - 3:00
Usually when we do a seasonal theme like this one, the weather works against us and we end up with the opposite weather of what we are pairing towards. We will see what this weekend brings, but if it ends up unseasonably warm, you can blame (thank?) us. Regardless, we know that cold weather will be isn't close to done with us this year, and we are here to help you prepare! We are picking out some of our favorite wines for shaking off the winter's chill to taste this weekend. These will be deep wines, texture driven and robust. But that does not mean they will only be reds, as we have selected an excellent Orange Wine that will give white wine fans the same type of 'oomph' and texture as our favorite cold weather reds. Of course, our featured reds for the tasting will shine brightly, as we have a great selection of wines as perfect with a roaring fire as they would be with beef stew or spicy bean chili. We hope you can join us on Saturday!
