Wines for Tailgating

Fall is a beautiful time of the year.  Although the temperature around here hasn't felt very much like Autumn so far, the most important part of this season is in full force - Football is back!!  Along with football comes another great tradition, the pre-game tailgate.  For this Saturday's weekly tasting, we've put together an eclectic assortment of wines, all of which we think will enhance your parking lot or backyard festivities.  A tailgate is essentially a party, so we've got a great Sparkling wine, because every party needs bubbles!  We've got a delicious white wine that is nicely fruit forward for sipping and socializing on its own, but with enough acidity and character to match some of your lighter foods.  To wrap it up, we've got three bold and rich reds to go with all the hearty and rich foods we creave on game day, whether ribs or burgers or more exotic fare.  We've got all your wines needs covered, whether you stay local to root on one of our fantastic nearby college teams, or if you pack up the party and drive to Charlotte to root on the Panthers.  And if you hate football, or just don't care about sports at all, no worries as these wines are delicious for you as well!
