Winter Warmers Tasting

As I write this in the early part of the week, it doesn't feel especially wintry outside with temperatures in the mid-sixties. But the forecasts say we will be getting chillier over the weekend, so our theme should be appropriate by Saturday!  We are picking out some of our favorite wines for shaking the Winter's chill to taste this weekend.  These will be deep wines, texture driven and robust.  But that does not mean they will only be reds, as we have selected one white wine that has enough 'oomph' and complexity to stand up to hearty foods and cold weather. Of course, the featured reds will shine brightly, with a great selection of four wines as perfect with a roaring fire as they would be with beef stew or spicy bean chili.  We hope to see you Saturday!
