Saturday, December 8th
4:30 - 7:00
Usually when we do a seasonal theme like this one, the weather works against us and we end up with the opposite of what we are pairing to. As of now, it does look like things will be getting chilly this weekend, and maybe even some snow or wintry mix on Sunday. This will be a perfect theme to get you to stock up on supplies in case the weather is foul! We are picking out some of our favorite wines for shaking the Winter's chill to taste this weekend. These will be deep wines, texture driven and robust. But that does not mean they will only be reds, as we have selected one rosé that has enough 'oomph' and complexity to stand up to hearty foods and cold weather. Of course, the featured reds will shine brightly, with a great selection of wines as perfect with a roaring fire as they would be with beef stew or spicy bean chili. We hope to see you Saturday!
