Australian Wines
1:00 - 3:00
Our tasting this week will focus on several of our current favorite Australian wines. Forget about the Yellow Tail and Koala Bay, and whatever other critter wines ruled the shelves in the early 2000s. The four wines we will have on Saturday show the class, refinement and value that can be found in today’s Australian wines. They still have the ripe fruit and bold personality that are so closely associated with many Aussie gems, but they don’t go over the top and have much more complexity and depth than the ultra low budget wines that dominate the grocery and big box store Australian selections. No jokes about dialect or down under, just delicious wines!
