And so here we are, Just one week out from Thanksgiving, and many wine fans know that means that Thursday is Beaujolais Nouveau day at fine wine establishments all around the globe. We've got five different Nouveau this year to select from, and we would love to raise a glass to toast the season with you!
 
All day Thursday from open to close we will have all five of our Beaujolais Nouveau
offerings open for you to sample!

Wines for the Thanksgiving Table

Saturday, November 23rd
4:30 - 7:00

We are at the point of November where our Saturday tasting turns to finding you the perfect wine for your Thanksgiving Feast!  What makes a wine appropriate for the big meal?  We look for wines with good balance of fruit and acidity, as you need a wine with fairly bold flavor, but almost more importantly you need a wine with good natural acidity for the literal cleansing of the palate between bites.  We also lean towards wines with a nice hint of spice flavors, as these will pick up the wonderful variety of flavors across the table.  For an event like this, it is also nice for the wine to have some elegance and finesse that raises it above a regular Tuesday night quaff with a burger, and helps to remind us that we are celebrating with each other.  And finally, its crucial that it be a wine that tastes good to you, and one of the best ways to figure that out is to come by on Saturday and give our suggestions a try!  Our good friend Greg Pfaender will be assisting us this year, and we've selectte some beauties from his portfolio to show off.  We hope to see you Saturday!
